Predetor Control

There is 4 Methods for predator control. I hope this information was help full. For any questions, you more than welcome to e-mail me with any questions or suggestion at info@vegafarm.com

Method 1 (Nights)

All Predators can hear right? If they hear you they will not come near you. A radio will be your chickens best friend. You can buy a cheap radio, or a old radio any where!! I have automatic sensor timer. It turns the lights on at dusk and shut them off at dawn. It allows you to plug it in to a wall, and plug the radio on the other side.

Method 2 (Nights)

The  night guard is a little box, that flashes a little red light. It turnes on autamatic, and charges its self by a solar pannel it has. The night guard cost around 30 bucks or so. You can use x-mass lights, and make them flash. Make sure there 1 foot off the ground.

Method 3 (Day and Night)

Make sure your poultry pens are predetor proof. By putting fencing betwen your fence and the ground, a predetor will not be able to dig under the coop.

Method 4 (Day and Night)

Live traps are simple to use. The best way to bait the traps is, making a mesh box, and putting the bait inside (Make sure you tie the box inside the trapt).

And if your lucky

This is a mink was cought after attacking my flock (During day lig

Make sure you do not do any thing crazy or dumb such as shooting what you cought. You can release what you chought some where away from your farm. If you catch a skunk call your animal control THEY HAVE TO DO SOME THING ABOUT IT. Please do not kill them, there animals. Animals don't know what there doing, there for ITS NOT THIER FOULT. It would be mean to do such a act.
